MESSI PLANNING ON BRINING HIS A GAME DURING THIS YEAR’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Messi had a rough 2014 but now he believes he is back and better and prepared for this year’s Champions League last 8.

Last season is something that Messi is looking at forgetting very quickly. Having being toppled by Athletico Madrid as the champions of Spain, Messi also lost player of the year award to Christiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s power striker.

Messi was not only under pressure with his game but also his personal life, in addition to that he nearly ended up in jail due to tax related charges which also involved his father. If the two were to be found guilty they would have been convicted and sentenced to not less than one year in prison.

This season, Messi has surprised many by putting aside all those issues and putting up a spectacular performance both at home in local matches as well as on the international stage where they are currently facing PSG in Champions league for a place in the competition’s last four.

According to Messi, 27, last year was full of misfortunes and he would like to put that in the past. In addition to that he said that he lost several scores due to the fact that he was injured. The 27-year old soccer star also said that he appreciated every goal he scored during last season although few and he is ready to score even more this year and remain in the history of his great club.

He also praised his teammates Luis Suarez and Neymar stating that they add a new dimension to the teams’ front line.
