Suzann Pettersen at The Manulife LPGA Classic This Weekend

On Saturday, Suzann Pettersen managed lead into the finals at the Manulife LPGA Classic. She fired a 6 under 66 and had one shot lead. Also, she is bogey-free through all holes at the Whistle Bear Golf Club. On the second place is Mariajo Uribe (67). Cristie Kerr (67), 17 times winner on the LPGA Tour, got 17 under par and she is in the 3rd place. After the round, Pettersen announced that she will continue to play the same and hope for the victory.
Pettersen was great this week. She also led in greens in regulation (90.77%). The last time when Pettersen had the same results, was at the Portland Classic where she closed with a 74 and finished in a tie for 16th. She had 8 of her 14 victories in her career when she led before the final round.
Pettersen said that she had some minor mistakes, but they weren’t very important. She is happy and thrilled for her success on Saturday.
Besides Pettersen, we must mention Uribe. She won the HSBC Brasil Cup in 2011. Now, she is preparing for her official victory in the LPGA Tour. She is Columbian golfer.
Uribe announced that she is a very aggressive player. She doesn’t like and she doesn’t want to change her strategy, so it will stay the same at the Manulife LPGA Classic. She also said that eagles and birdies will come out.
Her confidence is very high. She managed 2 top 20 finishes. As you probably remember, it was at the ShopRite LPGA Classic (T16) and Kingsmill Championship (T20).
